I've been telling stories for almost as long as I can remember! Like many writers, my first creative writing assignment in elementary school was a memorable one and moving on to any other task was easier said than done. A love of languages naturally followed and in college, I found myself bouncing from French Education to Three Languages (Japanese, French, and Chinese) to finally a major in East Asian Studies with a concentration in Japanese.
In addition to having various writing gigs since late high school, I began translating Japanese-to-English professionally in 2014, have passed the N2 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, and have had the honor of working on a manga that was nominated for a 2017 Eisner Award for Best US Edition of International Material - Asia and another that was nominated for the same award in 2019.
I have also worked as an event writer on a mobile game based on a popular American science fiction IP. I am currently working on an interactive fiction project and also love writing novels and short stories.
